Writing - What is in the sea water, what does it do?

I found this task fun, because I got to learn new things about what happens in the water.

I learnt that the sea water gives us oxygen.

What’s is in the water, in the sea, what does it do?

In the water there are animals, like sharks fish Sea snails & lot’s more.

There are also animals like marine turtles and others.

There are things like seaweed corals, rocks and shells in the water.

Others such as starfish, dolphins, killer whales and much more.

The animals that live in the water actually help us humans, because humans eat sea animals they are called food, to humans.

The animals help the sea water, they help the water by going certain ways.

They also help the water a living home, to themselves.

The water is very important to the animals because they need it to breath, they can’t live without water.

The sea water helps us humans to breathe, the water gives us humans oxygen.

The water also helps by giving  good new nutrition.

Sea water may also help to hydrate and improve the appearance of your skin.

Bathing in a magnesium rich dead sea salt, the solution helps your skin moisture.

Sea water is good for all things, such as humans and animals.

There are only seven seas in the world….

1 learning experience from this week.

I learnt this week for writing - How to do descriptive writing.

I learnt how to write in first person - like present, writing something happening right now.

I also learnt how to do writing in a few things have haven't done before.

I found this task alright but quite boring.

Next week I will work on making my task be more fun and learn new things and to do better on my writing.

Reflect on how our Reading went this Week.

This weeks reading I have been doing a  summarizing sequence about journal books.
I have been learning about how to do strategy practicing. I can Predict a story - I can Re-tell a story.
I picked a buddy for Buddy reading - In buddy reading we have to share a book and read half each and record ourselves and put it onto our Learning Log.

I found these tasks Good - Easy...

I learnt how to read and record myself - I learnt how to Summarize things - I also learnt how to do strategy practicing - How to Predict a story and how to Re-tell a story.

Next week I am going to improve on how to do my learning faster and to work on harder things.

Me and my mother was walking quickly to the shop, it started raining so we pulled out the black umbrella.

Me and my mother saw living fish falling down from the sky, my mother said ‘oh look we don’t need to go to the shop anymore to buy fish we can just catch it from the sky.

Me and my mother catched two big fish from the sky and took it home to cook quickly for dinner, so we can go to sleep.

We waited for an hour and a half for the fish to cook, so we can have dinner.

The fish was ready to eat, so my mother got some food out and put it onto plates for us to eat.

We were walking along the forest and we saw a village filled with tiny little creatures made of wood and different kinds of things.

They were so busy that they didn’t notice that we were right there.

My friend stood on something and the little tiny creatures were running fast around in circles not knowing what to do?

My friend freaked out so she picked up the thing that she stood on and looked, she said ‘oh no’ I am so sorry for standing on you what can I do to make it better?

The little creature said something but we didn’t understand, so we said sorry I beg your parden - so the little creature did sign language and it used it’s hands and said pull my leg, so she pulled it’s leg and the creature came back to normal so she put it back down and we left.

I hopped onto this spinning turner and I went really fast around in circles.

I tried to stop but it wouldn’t stop so I asked my friend to help me stop the Crazy ride I was on.

My friend tried to help stop the ride, it started to slow down a little bit but she had to keep slowing it down.

I jumped off the ride and bonked my head on the edge of the crazy thing I was on.

I said wow i am never coming to this place again and going on that ride ever.

HOW TO USE THIS SHEET!

Reading Goal

My next learning goal for Reading is to learn how to read long words, and to fix problems in the stories... I know this because it is in my ‘to be achieved box’ in my E-Asttle results console. I am going to achieve this by practicing on my work in school and sometimes off school   “not rushing through my work, using my fix it up strategies like Rereading or reading ahead to find out more. Asking questions and making sure I understand what the task is.”

Writing Goal

My next learning goal for writing is learn how to write none good work into bigger exciting words, and try to use more punctuation and writing faster and making my writing sound interesting… I know this because it is in my ‘to be achieved box’ in my E-Asttle results console. I am going to achieve this by doing my work on time and learn these things in my own time... “not rushing through my work, adding more full stops, capital letters and commas.”

Maths Goal

My next learning goal for maths is to learn my times tables, and fixing the maths problems out... I know this because it is in my ‘to be achieved box’ in my E-Asttle results console. I am going to achieve this by writing my times tables down and reading them at least 3 times a week and working out some maths problems “not rushing through my work, practicing my basic facts every day. Knowing my place value by using my place value charts.”
